MEXICO GOLF SERIES IS BACK!

After a successful season in 2006, the Mexico Golf Series is back. June 27th marks the launch of this year’s program in efforts to promote the country’s wide array of golf offerings in over 300 tournaments with Ontario and Quebec.

Once again, The Mexico Tourism Board will join forces with key industry partners such as Golfing Sales and marketing companies GoSeeMexico.com and Mexicana Airlines to provide Canada’s golfing enthusiasts with a comprehensive informational series.

The 2007 Mexico Golf Series will include the participation of representatives of some of Mexico’s most popular golfing destinations including: Puerto Vallarta, Isla Navidad, Los Cabos, Campeche and Yucatan.

Mexico boasts approximately 200 golf courses throughout the country and it’s already considered a popular and highly frequented destination by Canadian golfers. The country has hosted important professional golf tournaments in recent years.

These include: the Senior PGA Tour, Tour of the Americas, Canadian Tour, EMC-World Cup and the PGA’s Mayakoba Classic, the first official money event for the PGA in Mexico.
